What to Expect During Your First Appointment?
- Duration: Your first visit will last approximately 60 minutes. This includes a consultation to discuss your health concerns and goals, followed by your acupuncture treatment.
- Cost: The first appointment is $60. Follow-up treatments are offered on a sliding scale of $40–$60—you choose what works best for you. No income verification is required.
- Setting: Our clinic operates in a community setting, meaning treatments are provided in a shared space designed for comfort and relaxation.
How to Prepare for Your Visit
- Complete the Online Intake Form:
- After scheduling your appointment, please fill out our initial intake form online. Please complete this before you arrive.
- Wear Comfortable Clothing:
- Loose, comfortable clothes are best, as we may need access to your arms, legs, or back during treatment.
- Eat a Light Meal:
- Avoid coming on an empty stomach. A light meal or snack beforehand will help you feel more comfortable during the session.

- Our community treatment room is designed for quiet relaxation. Feel free to bring headphones.

- Answer: Most people find acupuncture to be relaxing and relatively painless. You may feel a slight pinch or tingling when the needles are inserted, but they are very thin and designed for minimal discomfort. Many patients even fall asleep during treatment!
- What conditions do you treat?
- We specialize in treating pain (neck, back, knee, etc.), stress, anxiety, digestive issues, infertility, autoimmune conditions, and more.
Are there any side effects? - Answer: Side effects are rare but may include slight bruising, mild soreness, or feeling tired after the session. These are normal and part of the body’s natural healing process.
- How many sessions will I need?
- Answer: The number of sessions depends on your specific condition and wellness goals. Some people feel relief after one treatment, while others may need a series of sessions for lasting results.
- Is acupuncture safe?
